A Family Legacy
Stone & Oak began in a small workshop in Austin, Texas. Our founder, Marcus Stone, was a third-generation carpenter who believed that the quality of commercial construction should be available to homeowners.
What started as a one-man operation renovating kitchens for neighbors has grown into a full-service design-build firm with over 40 dedicated craftspeople—but our values haven't changed.
We still treat every home as if it were our own. We still use the same time-honored joinery techniques Marcus learned from his grandfather. And we still believe that a renovation should enhance not just a house, but the lives of the people who live in it.
